New Chimpanzee Friends/Nouveaux amis chimpanzés

This week Maya has made many new friends. She spent a couple of days with our rambunctious Binky. They actually spent most of the time at complete opposite ends of the play area, but were seen grooming and gently playing together. I am not quite sure Binky knew what to make of his new friend, apart from the fact that she did not seem too intimidated by him...yet...She has also been spending time with Jethro, Chance and Toby. It is actually great for Toby to be in a slightly larger social group than just with one or two girls. Maya and Chance were very cute hugging and grooming together. Toby has been following Maya around like a shadow, and they form these little friend circles, everyone sitting very close together but not really doing anything, just hanging out, it is quite adorable. We have also had old friends back together like Rachel, Tom, Regis and Pepper.

Cette semaine Maya s'est fait de nouveaux amis. Elle passa plusieurs jours en compagnie de notre bruyant Binky. En fait ils ont passé leur temps dans des coins opposés de l'aire de jeux et ont été vus se toiletter et jouer gentiment ensemble. Je ne suis pas certaine que Binky savait comment s'y prendre avec sa nouvelle amie surtout qu'il ne semblait aucunement l'intimider... pour le moment... Elle passa du temps aussi avec Jethro, Chance et Toby. C'est réellement bien pour Toby d'élargir son cercle d'amis qui ne comprenait qu'une fille ou deux. Maya et Chance était adorables alors qu'elles se toilettaient et s'étreignaient. Toby suit Maya comme son ombre et ils forment des petits cercles d'amis. Tous s'assoient ensemble à proximité sans vraiment rien faire, simplement pour passer le temps, c'est vraiment charmant. De vieux amis ont également renouer leurs liens comme Tom, Rachel, Pepper et Regis.
