Special Visitors & Volunteers/Visiteurs et bénévoles spéciaux

This month we have had many great volunteers and visitors. Our regular and very faithful volunteers Jim & Amanda Bradley spent the week helping around the farm and in the Chimp house, as well as, Taylor from Animal Alliance and his friend Scanda…. what a blessing they were!

We also had the honor of having Shannon Mann, a good Fauna friend and volunteer, with brothers Willie and Simeon from New Zealand. The three had arrived fresh from the Sea Shepherd after a 4 month long voyage (http://www.seashepherd.org/about-sscs.html ). Sandy Currie a first time volunteer spent two weeks volunteering with us in the Chimp House and with our Monkeys, Sandy has also been a long time volunteer at Chimps Inc. ( http://www.chimps-inc.org/index.htm). Sandy will be returning to Fauna in June for a longer visit.

A big Thank You to our weekly volunteer Kathleen Asselin for donating a new washer and dryer! It makes doing laundry all that more exciting...

Ce mois-ci nous avons reçu plusieurs bénévoles et visiteurs. Jim et Amanda sont des bénévoles très fidèles à notre cause qui viennent nous voir régulièrement. Ils ont passé la semaine à nous aider à la ferme et dans la maison des chimpanzés en plus de Taylor de Animal Alliance et son ami Scanda. Quelle bénédiction de les avoir parmi nous!

Nous avons également eu l'honneur d'avoir Shannon Mann, bénévole et bonne amie de Fauna, en compagnie des frères Willie et Simeon de la Nouvelle Zélande. Les trois venaient tout juste d'arriver d'un long voyage de 4 mois en mer sur le Sea Sheppard (http://www.seasheppard.org/about-sscs.html). Sandy Currie une nouvelle bénévole est venue passée 2 semaines dans la maison des chimpanzés et avec nos petits singes. Elle a fait beaucoup de bénévolat à Chimps Inc. (http://www.chimps-inc.org/index.htm). Sandy sera de retour parmi nous en juin pour un séjour plus long.

Nos amis de longue date John Mulcahy et Diana Goodrich sont passés voir les chimpanzés avant de repartir pour débuter leur nouvel emploi au Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest (http://www.chimpsanctuarynw.org/)

Un gros merci à notre bénévole hebdomadaire Kathleen Asselin qui nous a fait un don d'une laveuse et sécheuse. Ça rend l'activité du lavage tellement plus excitante...
