Birthday Wishes for May/Voeux de fête pour mai

It was Tom and Toby's birthday on May 1st. Tom is roughly 44 years old our oldest fellow here! And Toby also roughly 31 years old. We have never been able to locate their exact dates of birth, so with the information that we were able to obtain, this is what we came up with. The National Post was here that day working on their article and video that you can see on the site. They we very generous and bought Pizza for the two birthday boys party! There was a great pick nick set up by Janet Lalumiere our long time volunteer for Tom and his friends on the islands and for Toby and Rachel on the mezzanine part of the building. Everyone enjoyed Pizza, enrichment and a whole day of fun and great food. Birthdays are always great, because it is always a big party for everyone! Sorry no pictures of Toby and his party on the mezzanine, unfortunately, it is not a good place to get pictures!

Le 1er mai dernier était l'anniversaire de Tom et Toby. Tom aurait 44 ans; c'est notre doyen. Toby aurait environ 31 ans. Nous n'avons jamais eu de date exacte, donc avec les informations qui nous ont été fournies c'est ce que nous en avons déduit. Le National Post été ici cette journée-là pour faire un article et un vidéo qu'il est possible de consulter sur leur site internet. Ce fut très généreux de leur part de payer de la pizza pour le repas de fête pour nos deux vedettes.

Deux picnics ont été organisés par Janet Lalumière, une bénévole de longue date, l'un sur les îles pour Tom et ses amis et l'autre sur la mezzanine pour Toby et Rachel. Tout le monde s'est régalé de la pizza, s'est amusé avec les activités d'enrichissements et toute une journée de plaisir et de bonne bouffe. Les journées d'anniversaire sont toujours très appréciées puisque cela signifie qu'on va tous faire la fête! C'est dommage que nous n'ayons aucune image de Toby à son party sur la mezzanine mais ce n'est pas un bon endroit pour prendre des photos.
