FAUNA, NEAVS/Project R&R will be presenting at the International Primatological Society XXII Congress, 3rd- 8th August 2008, Edinburgh, Scotland.
The panel will debate the use of great apes for invasive research in science, as well as policy, welfare and the importance of sanctuary. The panel will include Gloria Grow, Founder and Director of Fauna and Honorary co-Chair of Project R&R; Dr. Theodora Capaldo, NEAVS President and Executive Director of Project R&R; Dr. Jarrod Bailey, Project R&R Science Advisor; John L. VandeBerg, PhD, Director, Southwest National Primate Research Center; Brian Hare, PhD, Tchimpounga Chimpanzee Sanctuary; and Kathleen Conlee, Director of Program Management, HSUS.
